The late Rock Hall of Fame member Tom Petty, who passed away in 2017, is having his legendary status grow even more with yesterday’s release of a trailer for the video game Grand Theft Auto 6.
The video, which was rolled out yesterday (12/5/23), features the last track from Petty’s 1989 solo album Full Moon Fever – a song titled “Love Is A Long Road”.
In the last 24 hours, the song has had a 40,000% spike in the number of streams according to the folks at Spotify!
