In a report posted at NFL.com, Yakima native and Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp is expected to miss at least a month of the upcoming season to have surgery on a high ankle sprain.
Kupp will be placed on the Injured Reserve (IR) list and will miss the Rams next four games, at the minimum, including a tilt with his home state team, the Seattle Seahawks.
The ever-positive sixth-year wide receiver took to his Twitter account to thank his legion of fans for their continued support:
Thanks to everyone who has reached out and sent prayers! This is unfortunately just part of the game. Appreciate having a trusted medical team around me. Gonna get this thing fixed, then get back to work to get back to work!— Cooper Kupp (@CooperKupp) November 15, 2022
